After a lifelong career in the travel industry—as a guide, trip planner, business owner, and leader of a global luxury travel brand—I wanted to focus on my passion for guest relations and curating meaningful journeys. I saw a gap in the market for a company that connects discerning travelers with a network of handpicked, elite travel experts renowned for delivering exceptional, personalized trips.

In today’s market, while many companies claim to offer top-notch service and knowledge, the reality is that as businesses grow, their expertise tends to thin out. They tend to cover too many destinations, and quality suffers. Plus, they’re tied to the experts in their team when there may be others out there with greater depth of knowledge and know-how.

At The Spence Connection, we take a different approach. I believe in working with experts who specialize in one or two destinations or regions but know them intimately. My job is to connect you with the undisputed best in the business—individuals or small, owner-run companies—who have real, on-the-ground knowledge and no sales gimmicks. Most are people I know well or have worked with for years. Others have been recommended and researched to ensure they meet my high standards. Every Spence Connection expert brings 5 to 20+ years of experience, a wealth of contacts, and a genuine passion for what they do. And since I’m not tied to any one company, I have the pick of the crop.

How it works
The process is pretty straightforward. We hop on a call so I can get to know you and your travel history and learn about your preferences. Once we have a destination in mind, I’ll connect you with the best expert for that region. Best of all, the process costs you nothing! If you’re impressed and book with one of my recommended experts, I receive a referral fee from them (which adds nothing to the cost of your trip). If not, there’s no cost to you either way.
